Since that time the firm has owned, operated and built many multi residential properties in Chicago and its suburban markets . It principals have indepth knowledge and  experience in both residential property and asset management services, larger scale construction projects,   renovation of  apartment  buildings, sales, marketing and re-adaptive use of infill locations.

In 1983 Lettvin Development Company commissioned the development of a property management accounts receivable  program using the newly developed multi-user Unix operating system.  This software team went on to further develop the program morphing itself into the Softa Group, Inc. located in Northbrook, IL.  The  program continued to be enhanced into the "Skyline Property Management System" . Today Skyline is a major player in the property management software world.
