Founded in 1971 with the purchase of an eight-flat property located in Chicago's Belmont Harbor neighborhood, Lettvin Development Company has since built, owned, and operated an extensive portfolio of multi-residential properties in and around Chicago and its suburban markets.

Its principals have in-depth knowledge and experience in both residential property and asset management services, larger scale construction projects, renovation of apartment buildings, sales, marketing and re-adaptive use of infill locations.

Did You Know?

In 1983, we commissioned the development of a Unix-based property management accounts receivable program for use in our billing operations.  The software team responsible for its programming went on to further develop the program and the company into Softa Group, Inc. located in Northbrook, Illinois.

The program has since grown into the Skyline Property Management System, which offers modern operational and financial reporting features and is now owned and operated by SS&C Technologies, which holds significant market share in the commercial and residential property management software realm.
